Well, I decided that I wanted to delete my old blog and start fresh because my inconsistency with the other one was annoying me! So, I am starting this blog today, hoping to post something everyday, even if it is something very small!
I thought about trying to catch you all up on past events, but that would take way too long, so I am starting with today. Today is Martin Luther King Day! We woke up to a fresh 3 inches of snow on the ground, which is exciting for skiing, not so much for driving to work, especially for Matt! I had a work day today that went pretty well. We learned a new strategy called Thinking Maps, played dodge-ball, and had team meetings. I didn't get much time to work in my classroom, but there is always tomorrow. Matt made it safely to and from work with a total of 3 hours of driving time! I appreciate the fact that we live so close to my work, especially in the winter, and Matt never complains about the drive, well except for at least once a day =)!
I am excited for a 4 day school week and look forward to skiing this weekend and spending much needed time with Matt!
